In order to being about Standardized Websites for all Government Departments, it has been planned that all Government of Assam websites shall be under the standard domain '.assam.gov.in'. All Departments will follow a uniform domain naming convention ('<<name>>.assam.gov.in'). The sub-departments under the Main Administrative Department will need to submit their Domain Registration forms separately.

Process Flow:

• The Department, sub-department or Directorate to fill in the two-page form

• The signed form has to be submitted to the Directorate of Information Technology, Electronics and Communication.

• Fees:

There is no Fees.

Guidelines for filling the form:

Page 1: Write the name of the domain that the Department desires to have. For example: labour.assam.gov.in, finance.assam.gov.in, power.assam.gov.in

Page 2: Enter Name and other fields. Name should be 'Name of the Head of the Organisation or Designated official

Important: All Fields are to be filled. If any field is left blank, the form will be returned
